Discovering him, and understanding his philosophy had me intrigued for a chunk of time, so much so that I began looking up local land prices to potentially homestead in. However, that was a bit extreme and I nearly gave up a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to pursue a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering for that goal. Fast forward to the following Fall semester, my last semester, I had many conversations with some of my friends. Eventually, one of them came up with the idea of, "making your own internet". I thought it was an intriguing idea, but I hadn't really thought of how to pursue it. Until recently, as I was playing around with ESP32 modules had I realized, "the Internet of Things (IoT) is a gateway towards this strange idea." Since then, I had a renewed interest in creating my own website, since it could potentially act as a hub for my own corner of the internet away from the decadent same and banal. Thus, my corner of internet real estate was born, resting on the outskirts of contemporary media.
